Friends

Dear watchers,

I am raving about the show Friends. This show is more for the older kids but still one of the best shows I have ever watched. It is filled with funny moments, stupid mistakes and a bit of love and drama between friends. It is mostly about a group of friends after college, how they help each other through the sad, hard and funny moments of their life and how they cope with being an adult. The original executive producers were Kevin S. Bright, Kauffman, and David Crane. As the show gained fame they also gained many more producers. This show has been watched by my whole family and they all love it.

Friends is a show about a bunch of friends after college. The main characters of this show are Rachel Green played by Jennifer Aniston, Phoebe Buffay played by Lisa Kudrow, Ross Geller played by David Schwimmer, Monica Geller played by Courtney Cox, Joey Tribiani played by Matt Lblanc and last but not least Chandler Bing played by Matthew Perry. In my opinion my favorite character is Joey Tribiani because he has an acting career that he is struggling to maintain and also isn’t very bright, but he is the funny one of the group and makes almost every moment in the show more exciting. My favorite part of his character is that he goes into his friend's apartment which is conveniently right across the hallway and takes their food to eat and he does almost every time something secret is happening in the other room which makes it so much more funny. Phoebe Buffay is definitely a close second. She has an identical twin sister and her mother murdered herself when Phoebe was young and she lived on the street and mugged people before she met her friends. Her twin sister is a porn star and is super rude. Phoebe is also sometimes rude but not as bad as her sister. Phoebe also met a guy who she fell in love with who then moved to Russia and comes back to visit in the worst times.

The theme of this show is pretty straightforward and easy to spot if you looked for it. The theme is friendship, love and life challenges. Friendship is probably the main theme because first of all it is the name of the show Friends and second they always help each other out through hard times and sometimes happy times. For example, at the end of the show Rachel Green gets a big job in fashion which she has looked for for years but it is in Paris. Her friends help her through the process of making the decision and they help her to think through the whole thing and process it. I would be very happy to have friends like that. Love and life challenges are the second biggest thing in this show because throughout the whole show everyone is looking for someone to be their partner and there are always life challenges. For example, Ross tells everyone that he was mugged as a kid and his comic book that he was writing ,and was very proud of, was taken along with all his other school stuff and that it really scared him. Then, Phoebe talks to Monica about how she remembers that she was the one who mugged Ross as a kid. Phoebe then goes back to her apartment and finds all the things that she collected from her days on the streets. She sits down on the couch and convinces Ross the box she has is good and says “Anyway, I was looking through it and I found Science Boy!” ( S9 E15). Then, She pulls out a comic book that Ross made as a kid and hands it to him and he is heartfelt and happy. Which really shows how close these friends are and how they help each other out in their time of need.

Rating and discussing is the main thing of a review. I would rate this show a ten out of ten because if you're ever having a bad day this show will always make you laugh. My favorite part of this show is when Monica and Chandler are in a hotel room in between Rachel’s and Ross' room and they can hear everything that is going on. Then, Phoebe comes in and exclaims that she can hear everything and they start listening in on Ross in one room and Racheal in the other. I love this part because both Ross And Racheal are having forbidden love in their separate rooms with different people even though everybody wants Ross and Racheal to be together. I just love this part because it really shows how their group of friends love drama and drama always comes to them.

 Friends is a great show that  everyone can watch.  Mostly older people but it still has a bunch of life lessons and also beautiful endings. It is filled with friendship, love and life challenges that their friends help them get through. In conclusion, always have close friends you can rely on.
