Dear viewers,
If you like mysterious and magical films, Now You See Me, Now You Don't, directed by Ruben Fleischer is the movie for you. It has many interesting settings and fascinating characters.
The movie is about a crew of magicians named “The Four Horsemen” who are brought together to steal the rarest diamond in the world, the Heart Diamond. While attempting the heist, they face many twists and turns along the way.
I recommend this movie to people 13 and up as it contains strong language, violence and suggestive references.
The movie has a terrific blend of new and old characters as it expresses that magic has no age limit.
In the movie, an important theme that I saw was mentorship, as they are practically passing down the torch to a new generation of “The Horsemen.”
One of my favorite parts was when Veronika Vanderberg, the bad guy, had her new Formula 1 car being shown, and Bosco and Charlie dressed up as camera men to set a distraction. When the security guard wasn’t looking, Bosco got into the car and drove all through Dubai.
I chose to review this movie because I liked the cast, the plot, the settings, and all of the things in between.
Ruben Fleischer, the director, is known for his action packed films like Venom and Uncharted.
Ultimately, Now You See Me, Now You Don't, is a terrific movie with strong themes, empowering scenes, and many plot twists. I would recommend this movie to anyone with a creative mind, as it is a film that makes you want to be a part of The Horsemen.
