Dear Viewers,
After watching The Rookie by Alexi Hawley, I have decided that it is a ten out of ten show. I would recommend this series to people from age 10 to 99. The genre of this show is drama and action. This show makes sense and it is slow paced at some points and fast at others. The climax of the show is in some episodes when somebody dies or they almost die. The dialogue of the show is fully realistic. It shows us the real life situations of police officers. The show is about many officers but the main one is officer John Nolan. At the start of the show he was just a rookie but now he’s a TO (Training Officer). He doesn’t have many problems in the show. He is married to a woman named Bailey. I don’t think that I am connected with him because I am not a cop and I don’t share many relations with him. The supporting characters are Bailey (fire fighter), officer Chen, officer Bradford, and officer Grey (Sergeants), detective Lopez, and detective Harper. It cuts to scenes with these people but they aren’t the main characters. I would have not changed the show because I love it how it is. There are some jokes here and there in the show but it isn’t much of a comedy. The titles of the episodes make sense and give you a peek into the episodes. There are 8 seasons in this show. My first impression of the show wasn’t good but as I started watching it, it got better and I started to love it. My final impression for the show is that it never ends, but a realistic one is for all the characters to live happily ever after. If I were to compare all 8 seasons of the show, I would say that they all share the same amount of drama and action. Some of the episodes have cliff hangers that would make you want to watch even more. I could watch this show for hours and not even get bored. I have watched the whole show but I rewatched some of the episodes.
Yours Truly,
Wolf Ryan
